List of Schemes
- Medical Assistance : Workers can receive financial assistance ranging from ₹1,000 to ₹25,000 for the treatment of major illnesses, including heart surgery, kidney transplants, cancer treatment, angioplasty, eye surgery, orthopaedic procedures, uterine operations, gallbladder issues, kidney stone removal, and brain haemorrhage. Additionally, for regular medical check-ups, workers are eligible for assistance between ₹500 and ₹1,000 per case.
- Accident Benefit : Workers who suffer accidents at the workplace are entitled to accident benefits of ₹1,000 to ₹10,000. The application must be submitted within three months of the accident, along with relevant medical records.
- Maternity benefit for women : A financial assistance of ₹10,000 will be provided to working women as maternity benefit for their first two children. The application must be submitted within six months of delivery.
- Funeral Expenses : In the unfortunate event of a worker’s death, ₹10,000 will be given to the worker’s dependents. The application must be submitted within six months of the worker’s death.
- Medical Check-up Camps : Financial assistance of ₹1,00,000 for annual medical check-up camps for workers, sponsored by Trade Unions or Associations.
- Annual Sports activity : Financial assistance of ₹1,00,000 for district-level annual sports activities by registered Trade Unions.
