The Minimum Wages in Bihar have been revised for 69 Scheduled Employments effective from 01 October 2024. The Labour Resources Department, Bihar, issued a gazette notification dated 30 September 2024 for the same. As per the notification, the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been increased based on the Consumer Price Index number for the period January 2024 to June 2024.
The revised minimum rates of wages in Bihar will be applicable from 01 October 2024 to 31 March 2025.
