The Minimum Wages in Bihar have been revised for 77 Scheduled Employments effective from 01 April 2025. The Labour Resources Department, Bihar, issued a gazette notification dated 28 March 2025 for the same. As per the notification, the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) has been increased based on the Consumer Price Index number for the period of July 2024 to December 2024.
The revised minimum wage rates in Bihar will apply from 01 April 2025 to 30 September 2025.
